Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Outdoor Learning terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi ditinjau dari motivasi menulis siswa kelas VIII SMP Yafahi Dramaga Bogor. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Outdoor Learning digunakan dua sampel yaitu, kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Melalui perhitungan anova dua arah diketahui bahwa nilai rata-rata siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan model Outdoor Learning memiliki rata-rata sebesar 89,33. Sedangkan rata-rata nilai siswa pada kelas kontrol dengan metode ceramah sebesar 71,8. Kemudian melalui perhitungan toolpack excel anova dua arah diketahui bahwa Fhitung > Ftabel, dengan: (1) Faktor A (Motivasi): Fhitung = 12.06550413 > Ftabel = 4.012973378; (2) Faktor B (Model): Fhitung =43.23561303 > Ftabel = 4.012973378; (3) Faktor C (Interaksi antara Motivasi dan Model): Fhitung =10.68285299 > Ftabel = 4.012973378. Berdasarkan hipotesis yang dirumuskan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya, ada pengaruh model Outdoor Learning terhadap keterampilan menulis teks laporan hasil observasi ditinjau dari motivasi menulis kelas VIII SMP Yafahi Dramaga.


This study aims to determine the effect of the Outdoor Learning model on the writing skills of observational report texts reviewed from the writing motivation of class VIII students of Yafahi Dramaga Bogor Middle School. To determine the effect of the Outdoor Learning model, two samples were used, namely, the experimental class and the control class. Through two-way ANOVA calculations, it was found that the average value of students in the experimental class with the Outdoor Learning model had an average of 89.33. While the average value of students in the control class with the lecture method was 71.8. Then through the calculation of the two-way ANOVA excel toolpack, it was found that Fcount > Ftable, with: (1) Factor A (Motivation): Fcount = 12.06550413 > Ftable = 4.012973378; (2) Factor B (Model): Fcount = 43.23561303 > Ftable = 4.012973378; (3) Factor C (Interaction between Motivation and Model): Fcount = 10.68285299 > Ftable = 4.012973378. Based on the formulated hypothesis, it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an influence of the Outdoor Learning model on the writing skills of observational report texts in terms of writing motivation in class VIII of Yafahi Dramaga Middle School.
