THE USE OF TECHNOLOGY IN ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

This study systematically investigates the multifaceted role of technology in enhancing English for Specific Purposes (ESP) education. A rigorous review of peer-reviewed literature published within the last decade was conducted to identify key trends, challenges, and best practices in technology integration. The findings reveal that technology offers significant potential for personalized learning, authentic communication, and improved learning outcomes in ESP contexts. However, challenges such as equitable access, teacher training, and the development of high-quality digital resources require careful consideration for successful technology integration. This study provides valuable insights for educators, curriculum developers, and policymakers to effectively leverage technology and improve the quality of ESP education in the digital age.
